Shooting in the Water​​ – (A Student’s Assignment)

This is just a piece of student’s assignment two years ago.

Em Sopheak, 21, a cameraman in a flash flood area in Bonteay MeanChey province where the National Committee for Disaster Management (NCDM) considers the most affected area by flood in 2010.

Within Bonteay Mean Chey province, 3500 ha of rice were destroyed. The cameraman makes a news report and a documentary in order to seek for funding and donation for the affected area.

The fisherwoman told the cameraman the place where a large field of rice was destroyed by the flood. After the flash flood has quickly gone, farmers and fisherman/woman go fishing instead of farming.

The cameraman has been working half-day in the flood water where rice destroyed. Before the dusk comes, his production team brought some vegetable growing with the flood for an evening meal at a village where he planned to stay at night.
